Every December 7th Guatemalans "burn" the Diablo, an ancient tradition to "clean" all the bad from the previous year and to start anew from the ashes. In cities throughout the country The Devil is burned at the stroke of six. In Antigua Guatemala there is only one place in the city where two gas stations sit across the street from each other.
