Toma aproximadamente 5 horas su escalada y otras 3 bajarlo, desde su cima puede apreciarse toda la cordillera volcánica de Guatemala y en primer plano, al sur, el Volcán de Fuego, que brinda un excelente espectáculo con sus ríos de lava y explosiones a los montañistas que eligen pernoctar en la cumbre. Sin duda un paseo que no basta una vez en realizarlo.

Esta es una de las razones del por qué el café de estas regiones es de alta calidad.
