Imprescindible XXI

Incredible arrangement for a classic Jethro Tull song, it proves that Mr. Anderson has been aging very well.

Guatemala Cup of Excellence 2011

Change of Rules

I have discovered that many of my readers are from Latin America, and Spanish also is my mother language. After more than two years of writing only English, I decided from now I will posting in Spanish too, this action will let me go deeper in future "Ñ" posts. Hope more of you enjoy it.

Green Neighborhood

For the past 14 years I have lived in this part of Guatemala City, in the outskirts some 11 miles from downtown, here at 6,000 feet over sea level and 1,500 feet over the city, weather is almost 5 Cº cooler, hills are green all year round as if it was an eternal spring, never to cold nor to hot, just the right temperature. So I decided today to ride my bike at midday and take some snaps to show.

Verbo no Sustantivo

As tagged by a friend who sent me this song: "It could be the soundtrack for a movie of a beatification, a wedding or a worldwide applauded assassination". Beautiful performance by Ricardo Arjona.

Coffee Joulies

Coffee Joulies work with your coffee to achieve two goals. First, they absorb extra thermal energy in your coffee when it’s served too hot, cooling it down to a drinkable temperature three times faster than normal. Next, they release that stored energy back into your coffee keeping it in the right temperature range twice as long.

Campo de Luz

Today we spent some quality time at Guatemala's highlands, where the Saul E. Mendez fashion show Campo de Luz was held (in the middle of a cropping field). Nice weather, nice place, nice show, at the end we gathered up with friends and shared some wine. These kind of activities pull you apart from the daily routine.
