Last weekend my son and I spent some nice time in Antigua, we were at Casa Encantada a small and beautiful hotel. We walked a lot and visited a museum, a toy store, a book store, a music store, a candy store, handcrafts shops, coffee shops, restaurants, other hotels, parks, several ruins of colonial churches, also we saw a procesiĆ³n and at the end I almost died incapable of following the kid's path. We will really remember this journey.
Last Thursday was the kind of days you want to keep yourself in bed until sun warm up the morning. As inhabitant of the tropics this kind of windy/misty morning is a definitive call to stay in bed, but my alter ego sent me to the ride, fortunately time changed rapidly in my support.

The Rippingtons is one of my preferred smooth jazz bands, although they have been playing with several five star jazz musicians, the line up of this videoclip is one of my favorite. I have good memories from their Sarasota (1993) and Antigua (2003) concerts and hope see them again in the future. Have a good time watching this clip. Thank you Tony for the link, the percussion solo is fabulous.
Lurking the internet I found this funny story about a trip to the city of El Mirador, one of the most enigmatic sites in the world, here is the link to Into the Wild, and more in NatGeo's Beyond Apocalypto.
